Haiti Earthquake

Our Condolences to Earthquake Victims in Haiti

We are deeply saddened and moved by the tremendous and widespread destruction caused by the earthquake in Haiti. Our hearts and prayers go out to the survivors, their families, and their friends, as we ask God Almighty to give them solace and hope in the difficult days ahead.

As the Scioto Educational Foundation, we are committed to using our resources to process the donations and contributions to help the survivors out of this terrible tragedy.

7th Annual Dialogue Dinner


The Annual Dialogue Dinner for 2009 took place  at Hyatt Regency Columbus. The theme of this year’s dinner was “The Alliance of Civilizations.” Congresswoman Jean Schmidt was the keynote speaker. We also had the honor of having Mustafa Ozbayrak, an elected Turkish parliamentarian whose assembly own the idea of “Alliance of Civilizations” and work hard to promote peace in the world. Spring Bake Sale


Our members came together in order to raise funds in support of SEF. The sale attracted hundreds over the course of a weekend enabling them to taste and purchase Baklava, Borek (filled pastry), Manti (Turkish Ravioli), Stuffed Grapeleaves, and Embroidery, Scarves, and Various Gift Ideas! We thank our members and guests who contributed to this event.
