Community Fellowship
Dinner, following the successful Abrahamic Faiths Dinner of last
year, is an initiative to foster cross-cultural fellowship among
members of different faiths. The dinner took place on the 10th of January at Martin De
Porres Center. The event featured the gathering of members of
several communities throughout Columbus such as Congregation Tifereth Israel, Hindu Community of Central Ohio, Shiloh Baptist Church, St. Andrew Parish, St. Francis of
Assisi, and St. Thomas More Newman Center. Commensurate with the
goal of establishing cross-cultural friendship, the program
featured roundtable discussions under the guidance of community
leaders, and a keynote address by the respected Columbus community
member Dr. Paul Numrich whose talk was on the significance
of cross-cultural fellowship. Dr. Numrich is the chair of Program
in World Religions and Inter-Religious Dialogue under Theological
Consortium of Greater Columbus. We would like to
express our gratitude to Christina Butler and
Martin De Porres Center
for hosting this wonderful event.
