In an effort to promote awareness and discussion of problems in Ohio, SEF, in partnership with Students for Dialogue at OSU, prepares and serves dinner several times per year at the YWCA family shelter.  Since these problems affect all people, regardless of religion, race, and ability, SEF encourages volunteers to see each person they help as a human being, deserving of respect and dignity, regardless of their current circumstances.   The time spent with the parents and children are cherished by each volunteer.
