On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8th, SEF and
Students for Dialogue at OSU invited an American Muslim Fidelma
O'Leary. O'Leary is a faculty member at St. Edward's University; and
she is also the co-founder of the Freedom of Faith Foundation, an
educational organization that seeks to create a tolerant society
where all people can practice their faiths. Ms. O'Leary presented
the perspective of women according to the Qur'an, and how it
empowered women all the way back in the 7th century.
